Drama Drama Drama
I walked into a big, messy pile of drama this afternoon.
Late for work - having been out picking up liquor and office supplies for the brothel - I walked in to something I can only describe as "screeching". One girl had gotten into another girl's locker and taken off somewhere random. The first hour at work was spent calming the other girl down, giving her hugs and telling her we'd deal with it. I try to promote the notion of trust, respect and family here. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
But that's the case for almost any workplace. I've done reception in prestigious law firms, emergency rooms, real estate offices and accounting agencies. There's drama everywhere you go.
Sure, the drama in a brothel is more chaotic and loud and contains FAR more colourful language than it might in a top law firm.
BUT IT GOES AWAY FASTER.
That screaming and shouting and cursing and chaos gets out the emotion that people in stuffier profession hold in and let fester. In that way, the sex workers deal with those feelings in a far healthier way. You know...the yelling and screaming part.
