Louis Cyphre Posted 25 June, 2012 Share Posted 25 June, 2012 Wow Mike. You really are making an art form of the zero detail, three line review...... Throw your fellow punters a bone and let us know what the hell happened, if it in fact ever happened. Link to comment
old fossil Posted 25 June, 2012 Share Posted 25 June, 2012 Now thats a tad better an extra word we are getting there Link to comment
La Cucaracha Posted 25 June, 2012 Share Posted 25 June, 2012 Wow, if the queen of Sydney only gets 3 lines, I'd hate to think what the others will get ... maybe 2 words like "she's nice" or something totally uninformative like that. Link to comment

Hey, give the man a break...He's obviously new and perhaps writing is not his forte... Having said this, yes, I agree and think a review should be a little more detailed for other punters to have a better idea of the WL (although in this case that WL is CMQ, so not much more is needed) Link to comment
La Cucaracha Posted 25 June, 2012 Share Posted 25 June, 2012 ... although in this case that WL is CMQ, so not much more is needed I'll bear this in mind. Next time I see Christine, my review will read "CMQ ... nuff said". Link to comment
Brok-her Posted 25 June, 2012 Share Posted 25 June, 2012 I'll bear this in mind. Next time I see Christine, my review will read "CMQ ... nuff said". You could never stop at that sir LC. And quite frankly neither could/would I. There is aways so much to write about an encounter with this wonderful lady, and I should know, lol Link to comment

There is aways so much to write about an encounter with this wonderful lady, and I should know, lol Exactly my point to start with. Given the exquisite pleasure of being able to spend time with Christine, I would be literally reprising Julie Andrews in Sound of Music and be running around the hills bursting with song and rhyme, espousing the absolute thrill and pleasure that I had during the encounter, beating my chest to tell everyone that I'd been afforded an audience with HRH, literally effusive about every detail of the time spent, instead of being totally tight-lipped and smug and simply hinting at the encounter. By the way, you will notice that my response here in this post itself has more words than the entire review that was written about Christine, which is such an injustice to such a wonderful lady at the top of her game. LC, I received a PM that pretty much makes it clear that this was in fact a time-waster. My apologies if my little initial "defence" sounded cut... As I said, you guys are right and reviews should be extensive, or at least detailed. And "nuff said" will sure mean a fantastic night, but lets hope you don't stop at that. Cheers! Link to comment
Henry1 Posted 26 June, 2012 Share Posted 26 June, 2012 Nobody better tell me how much or how little I can write in a review. Link to comment

Throw your fellow punters a bone and let us know what the hell happened, if it in fact ever happened. There are four lines JANGO CMQ rocks Thanks for the usual informative addition andyMa Hey, give the man a break...He's obviously new and perhaps writing is not his forte... Agreed Slater. I seem to remember copping similar sorts of shit during my early reviews on FIA (all in my blog on here). It was only an encouraging post by Growler (just about the only sensible thing he has said) that kept me contributing. I'll bear this in mind. Next time I see Christine, my review will read "CMQ ... nuff said". Yes LaC, that will indeed suffice. Exactly my point to start with. Oh, please spare us. I think I'm going to be sick. LC, I received a PM that pretty much makes it clear that this was in fact a time-waster. Please feel free to share your intelligence. Cunning Linguist Posted 28 June, 2012 Share Posted 28 June, 2012 Thanks for the testimonial Mike-Diablo. Hey, give the man a break...He's obviously new and perhaps writing is not his forte... It's also possible some guys aren't really interested in writing reviews but might get nudged towards PP by providers and asked to write something. An extra avenue for promotion. Link to comment
