Why I punt
I guess I'm like most men a reflection of why men engage in the services of WLs. Though I can't speak for all men these are the reasons as to why I do.
Initially when I first saw a WL it was lose my virginity, but I enjoyed it that much I kept doing it. Because like has been stated it was filling a void in my life.
I’m somebody who has also had battle with depression and social fears. Wouldn’t say it’s a full blow phobia though. It maybe hard to believe but in the big bad world I’m an extremely shy person.
I think those who like to refer to them as kind of therapists hit the nail on the head because in a way it is like a therapy session. There is just something about WLs that makes me lose most of my inhibitions. I also that to an extent they saved me as well. Not that my lack of intimacy with a woman was the only thing but it was one of the reasons. But there was a time a few years ago where I thought about taking my own life.
I also saw them when I was younger as teachers. We all had sex education at school but this was the practical we never had.
As you’ve probably noticed I posted a thread about how to avoid the friend bin. That is because any lady I’ve met that I have thought about wanting to be more with has invariably pigeonholed me as that. That combined with those girlfriends I have had have ended up being heartbreakers.
The real shame is that it’s only WLs who get to see the side of me that should only be reserved for a girlfriend/wife/lover.Also too age gap isn’t really an issue either. I’m the other way round though in that it’s been when the lady is the older one. In fact my current regular is old enough to be my mother. (Not trying to be nasty about it just stating a fact) In reality how many women of her vintage would want to be with a man young enough to be her son? But at the same time I don’t think I’d want to be in a situation where I’m out with my girlfriend and we get glances.
So I suppose in summing up they really do help fill a void in people’s live and I think it is totally obscene that in some parts of the world it’s a criminal offence to engage their services.
