Because journo's pitching the line of wanting to do a positive story on you have never done an interview and set subjects up by asking them seemingly innocent questions to elicit specific answers with possible voice-grabs that they can then edit to the bejeebers and the end result is a scathing scandalous story on one of those "after the 6pm news slot" shows in the name of investigative journalism - the tone of the piece being totally opposite to their sales pitch, something that you'd never have agreed to if you'd known. Nah, that sort of stuff never happens. Because journo's in this country are such upstanding professionals with the highest sense of integrity and would never place the sales of papers and ratings spike above the truth. And pigs may fly someday... You sound like you know something I don't, petepunter, but personally if a reporter from most Australian media would approach me to do a "nice story" on Punter Planet for example, I'll run away like hell in the opposite direction.
