@Realman1988 aaahhh….brings back memories. I actually purchased a 2 litre bottle of pre-mixed Nuru and I’ve enjoyed it with Summer quite a few times. It can get slippery on the table though. The outlook on the current lockdown is not looking great ! Positive that community testing numbers are high. Negative that we just don't seem to be flattening that curve.

 

Another 56 infectious while in the community cases today. That number has been trending at 40+ per day for the past week or so now. All of which means that the overall numbers will also continue to trend higher until we bring that down. Our 'masters' at State Parliament want this number to be zero (or at least close to it) before they start to ease restrictions. This is going to be impossible in the short-medium term, unless an absolute miracle happens. Jabs into arms is seemingly our only way out.

 

When we do eventually start to come out of lockdown, things will move slowly and in different phases in terms of the kind of businesses allowed to re-open, in which specified time periods, how many people they are allowed to roster on for work and how many patrons they're allowed to have on premises at any one time. There will be very strict social distancing restrictions which will remain in play until at least the end of 2021, if not beyond. Probably at least until the vaccination rate goes up. Any form of business offering 'personal services' will be the absolute last-of-the-last allowed to re-open.

 

We're in this for a long haul I feel.

No surprise to hear this. Even if we do get back underway within the next few weeks (unlikely) it wouldn't be fun being under the constant threat that things could be shut down on a whim again at any time.
